S.A.M or Student Athlete Moment is when a student athlete, usually in college. Does something heinous (and probably illegal). But faces no consequences due to the fact that they make too much money for the school and or produce too much positive PR.
Mike from the sportball team stalks girls in his downtime. They tried to report him to the police but the school got in the way of the investigation. What a S.A.M!
