People you keep seeing on a trip involving air travel: at check-in, in the security line, at starbucks, waiting at the gate, sitting three rows ahead of you, waiting for baggage claim, etc

Distant Relatives

An incredible collaboration album by Nas and Damian Marley. It combines Marley's reggae fusion style with Nas' phenomenal rap skills. The content is very intelligent and meaningful. Most of it is about the struggles of Africa but it does not end there. The two musicians touch on injustices which the entire world has to endure, especially in the song "Patience".
"Pay no mind to the youths, cause it's not like the future depends on it. But save the animals in the zoo, because the chimpanzee's dem a make big money."- Damian Marley. (There are so many other lines I could have chosen to illustrate the lyrical genius of this album)

Distant relatives is probably one of the best collaboration albums of all time.

A term used for relatives with whom you exchange texts or emails but whom you generally do not see for in-person visits.

I am in close touch with my extended family back East, I refer to them as my electronic relatives.

Once-a-year Relatives

Relatives, usually extended, that you only see once or twice a year on major holidays. Usually these visits are preceded by a great deal of apprehension and distress.

Jessica: So, I'm getting my hair refoiled, my nails done, and then going out and eating my body weight in chocolate
