"Res" is a rising term among young used to express empathy or a common feeling. It stems from the word "resonate", expressing that a person's feelings really resonate with a certain group.
Friend 1: I can't understand why some people are refusing to wear masks
Friend 2: I think a lot of young people really res with that sentiment. ("That's a big res for/with young people" is also appropriate)
