nintendonite

The mysterious element that all nintendo products except for the Nintendo Ds Lite and DSI and parts of the Wii are made of. This Element was discovered in an unknown location sometime before 1985 by poor asian techies. the reason nearly all nintendo systems were made of nintendonite was because NINTENDONITE IS THE STRONGEST PLASTIC PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE!

Nintendonite is not represented on the Periodic Table of Elements because releasing the details of Nintendonite's atomic structure would enable Microsoft and Sony to use it as well. That, or it could just as easily be that Nintendo doesn't even know... they're so innocent...

My Gamecube fell out of the plane when we landed but it still works fine except for the "open disc tray" button, but that's okay because you can pry it open. (yes, even the Gamecube was made of nintendonite. and yes, it could survive something like that)

or: my town was invaded by zombies but i threw my original gameboy at them and it was heavy enough to kill them. then i played super mario bros for a few hours.

or: i accidentally dropped my Gameboy SP in the garbage disposal, but it was closed and the water was off and it's made of nintendonite, so it's okay.

Nintendoitis

Nintendoitis (noun) This condition usually occurs after you've played a console game too long. But was prominent with the original Nintendo Entertainment System back in 1985 with the original box controller. After many long hours of gameplay be it Zelda, Mario or Contra or whatever game you were playing, you would begin to feel pain in your thumbs and it would work its way up throughout your hand. But you usually wouldn't stop playing because you wanted to beat the game. But this condition can still occur with just about any game console controller.

Sam: Yo man I'm going to beat this PS3 game.
Tony: Ok I'll go watch a movie.
*three or four hours pass by Tony walks back into the room seeing Sam still at it.*
Tony: So how much further do you have to go in the game?
Sam: I'm almost finished but I'm developing a bad case of Nintendoitis.

Nintendotaku

A portmanteau of Nintendo and otaku. A die-hard Nintendo fanboy. The typical Nintendotaku spends their days playing motion- and touch-controlled "casual" games rather than games with any depth or maturity. They are also usually very immature and refuse to acknowledge any positives of the 360, PS3, and PSP, as well as any negatives of the Wii and DS. When pressured to explain their obsessive love of the company (or their obsessive hate of its competitors), they often provide absurd reasons, such as the company's "family-friendly" nature, or the PS3 and 360 being more expensive, despite containing more features and good games than the Wii.

Nintendolt

A person who is blindly, fanatically loyal to Nintendo. He will immediately buy anything with the Nintendo logo, mindlessly insult anyone who doesn't share his fanaticism, and would proclaim a blank CD with Mario's face on it to be the greatest game ever made.

Nintendoitis

A condition very common among 8-bit games, but can be applied to any game in which this happens, even if it's not a Nintendo game. It is a condition in which an enemy that was just killed would respawn in the same place if the screen scrolled to the left and then back to the right (or right then left). This condition is most prominent in games like Super Mario Bros. 2

Hey, I just killed that guy! He came back while I was going for that 1up! This game has Nintendoitis bad.
