1) The idea that we can live alongside people from other cultures and accept them as they are, as opposed to excluding minorities or forcing them to assimilate into clones of us. Currently, it seems to have replaced the antiquated idea of the melting pot. It leads to more knowledge of and respect for other languages and cultures. Knowing more than English is now considered cool for the first time.

2) Aside from its actual, benign meaning, it usually a code word for reactionary rednecks. The talk radio hosts say 'multiculturalism' and all the listeners go, "Aha! Someone who agrees with me in politics!"

Indiscriminate Multiculturalism

1. A Conservative logical contortion and generalization that implies that all Liberals believe all cultures are equally good and none are better than any another, and if you don't discriminate between good and bad cultures you have no right to say what is good or bad, period. Therefore Liberals should "shut the fuck up" like they're continually told to on Fox News. Found in arguments against the Muslim religion (Muslim meaning Terrorist), immigration, and other topics that offend their belligerent nationalism.

2. A Conservative code-term invented by a think tank called the The Heritage Foundation specifically to attack Liberal ideas. Used in the Conservative "Control Through Language" campaign to brainwash good, well intending, people to support their continual attack against the Bill of Rights and Democracy in general in post 9/11 America.

Neo-Multiculturalism

The new culture that comes out of the pressure of cultures blending with one another, while also at times being at odds with the other.

I believe in Neo-Multiculturalism because I look forward to the things that will become, due to certain types of pressure; gifts in disguise, and it feels like a good order of things.

The Multi-cultural Merry-go-Round

The Multi-cultural Merry-go-Round is when a guy sits in the center of your local kindergarten playground's merry-go-round while one of each female race stands around the circle naked and bends over ass facing inwards. The merry-go-round is then spun, which gives the man in the center a 360 degree view of all the asses around the world.
