Korean Pop Music mostly listened by 14 year old white girls wearing facemasks acting like they are in Korea.

A genre of music that is commonly referred to something that is either "gay" or "stupid" or something meant for only young teen girls or homosexuals. Though, it is simply a genre of music that sparked its popularity in 2015-2016 by the most well known group- BTS. It comes from Korea as a whole and not just South Korea. There has been many jokes about this type of music, usually putting it in a bad light which- for the most time is unneeded. K-Pop usually isn't even sometimes pop music, like The Rose or Day6. K-Pop fandoms come in many shapes and sizes, though, all of them have their own bad light and their good light. The most infamous things caused by fandoms are shipwars, scandals. K-Pop fans are normally sometimes called K-Pop stans, which relating to the name, Stan Loona is another infamous spike in the K-Pop fandom as a whole, everyone (almost) knows about it. Though, this has passed.

So into Korean pop culture that you don't know anything about your own native pop culture anymore or at least lost complete interest in it. You're now only interested in all things Korean.
Teacher: I constantly see you listening to your ipod. So what songs are hot now besides Lady Gaga?
Student: (Long silence)
Other Student: He's been K-popped. He only knows Korean pop songs now.

K-pop stands for Korean pop. It will ruin your life, because they’ll make you go broke by buying all their merch and album.
You will also end up having sleep deprivation from staying up all night waiting from them to drop their comeback.

K-pop is Korean pop music. having been gained popularity by the miraculous thing called the Internet, K-pop has been renowned worldwide for it's unique talent.
K-pop usually has music videos involving choreography, Multiple group members, and extremely attractive people. (Nevertheless, it also has it's share of solo artists.)
K-pop artists also have fanbases based on them, such as S♥NES, (Who are SNSDs' fanbase) They tend to get a bit pissed off when someone badmouths a certain artist.
People have their opinion on which music they like the best, But it is not fair for ANYONE to trash someones' preferred music genre. Even though I am A K-pop fan, I respect the American music industry (Except for some artists) and I'm disgusted how we treat each other this way. Have some decency.
