Immortal

Immortal is a Norwegian black metal band from Bergen formed in 1991 by frontman and guitarist Abbath Doom Occulta and guitarist Demonaz Doom Occulta. The pair worked with various drummers (including Grim, Armagedda and Hellhammer), and were later joined by former drummer Horgh in 1996.

A fierce forger of ice cold black metal – Immortal was formed in Bergen, Norway, by Demonaz (guitars) and Abbath (bass/vocals) in 1990. For three decades Immortal has delivered massive majestic riffs, grim frostbitten vocals and tales from the mighty Blashyrkh battle-filled realm of eternal darkness and winter.

IMMORTAL

A word that only demigods use as a nickname for themselves to express their godliness, in demigod slang, even when they aren't necessarily fulls immortals.

(e.g. The demigods ritually folk danced in circles, on a cloud, over Mount Olympus chanting, 'Everlasting. We live forever', then shouted, 'We are IMMORTAL!, while giving a toast with wine')
