Most often meaning to throw very hard(1) , but can be used to substitute a wide array of verbs, such as swallow hard (2), hit hard (3), be very tired or hungover (4), pull hard (5), vomit severely (6), etc.

1. He didn't have time to hit the ball once I threw it. I absolutely hooned it one!
2. If you don't like the taste, just hold your nose and friggin' hoon it back!
