Some of the areas are extremely upper class, while others are lower class. Known for its abundance of trees. Not incredibly exciting, but overall a great place to live.
Shaker Heights, Ohio is the best place around Cleveland to live because every other suburb around it is either all black or all white.

"Hudson Heights" as a name has only been used in the gentrification sense since the 90'd. But the actual area has always been nice, coming from a lifelong resident. Located in Washington Heights, Hudson Heights comprises anything from 181 St and Ft Washington Ave to Fort Tryon Park and west of Broadway up until 190St.
Long a haven for German Jews, it was nicknamed "Frankfurt on the Hudson" during the WW II years. today, most of the original German Jews have dies or retired, and it has found insured life with new, hipsterfied residents. While not a Williamsburg by any measure, the newer residents are young, artsy and many of them are non New Yorkers.
The area is known, in particular, for its natural beauty. Fort Tryon Park is one of the most tranquil anywhere. The playground i grew up in, Bennett Park, is at the highest natural point on Manhattan island. Bennett Park is located at 184 St between Ft Washington and Pinehurst Avenues. When it comes to living, it is a quality place to live, all while still being a part of Manhattan island.

Get the hudson heights mug.Ladera Heights is a "hidden" neighborhood for really rich black people. Houses are mostly owned by doctors, lawyers, and other working and wealthy African American people. It's normal term is "The Heights" but lots of people also call it "The Black Brentwood". Kids that come from Ladera Heights are said to be snobby although there are many kids that come from there that aren't too snobby. The reason it is called "hidden" is because most people have never heard of the neighborhood.
"Welcome to Ladera Heights. The wonderful world of affluent African Americans. But keep it quiet, or else white people will come back to the neighborhood and try to take everything! Just say you live in Culver City!"

The only exciting place is Green Park because of the deli that is easy to steal from and the park is easy to get drugs and the adults buy you smokes. Another thing to do when you're bored is go to Highview Park and play inside the ditch are inside the fenced area which has holes cut on the fence.
There are some fancy looking houses but filled with old people and little kids. Lots of teenagers go to Green Park just to get stoned. The area is so posh that you can get chased by an old Asian man for spitting on his property as you walk by.
