don't care (hand gesture)

The Don't Care hand gesture consists of the sweep of the right arm with an open palm, followed by the abrupt closing of the hand in front of the face, at this point, you yell out "Don't Care". It is symbolizes shutting a cell-phone and neglecting to answer a phone call from an unwanted caller.

Example:

At a large party, Amanda looks at her phone. It is from Ashley, a friend she is avoiding all night. She opens it, waves it front of her, shuts it, and yells "Don't Care." The room erupts in laughter. Thus, completing the don't care (hand gesture).

A 56-word statement, originally written by psychotherapist Fritz Perls, that serves as a way of life model for many who live or seek to live outside the influence of the status quo. The "prayer" has since become synonymous with individualism and peaceful rebellion. It gets its name from a specialized form of therapy called Gestalt Therapy, a brand of therapy which Dr. Perls helped to create.

Boomerang Gesture

When you accept someones offer to buy you something, give you money, or help you in any way, and later on they bring it up and throw it in your face, especially during an argument.

What ever you do, do not accept any help or money from mark, even if he offers to buy dinner, he is known for his boomerang gestures.

Grand Gesture

A risk people take by putting themselves out there to show how you feel for your significant other, usually when doubt is cast against your feelings. The "grand gesture" usually entails giving up something big in exchange for the gratitude and love of your significant other.

I showed Amy how much I love her want to be with her with my grand gesture of quitting my job in LA to be with her in New York.
