Draft Explosion

A draft explosion is a term coined by Blake McPherson (@Notorious_BRM). He saves all his ridiculous and generally bad tweets in his draft box then tweets all of them at one time. This sending of usually 15+ tweets at one time is called a "draft explosion."

"Man did you see Blake's draft explosion last night?"

"Yeah dude it was totally rad, I died laughing at one tweet and all the others made me want to hit my phone with a sledgehammer!"

mass draft

when one person from a group of people is sent to the bar to buy multiple beers so as to avoid everyone having to tip on their own purchase. once money has been gathered from everyone, the person chosen as the mass drafter buys everyone's beer and then tips just as if he had only bought a beer for himself. the person required to mass draft is usually rotated throughout the night.

Hey Jim, we all want some beers and it's your turn to mass draft. Make sure you tip the bartender.

Lavatory Draft

The smell you experience when you sit close to the lavatory on an airplane.

Friend 1: "Dude, on your flight, you need to request the bulkhead."

Friend 2: "Yeah, that can be good or bad." "On my last flight, I was seated in the bulkhead but had to deal with lavatory draft during the 5 hour flight."

Friend 1: "Bummer"

backdoor draft

Backdoor draft – Military term used to describe the current government policy of keeping troops in the military beyond their original enlistment contracts through the utilization of “stop loss orders” (keeping specific shortage job specialties such as military intelligence and aviation in) and “stop movement orders” (locking down entire units so that troops can’t leave the military or rotate out into another unit). Some troops have spent one to two years serving past their enlistment contract or retirement date.

“Man, it sucks to be SGT Johnson.”
“Why’s that?”
“He had a scholarship to UT set up but now the Army’s keeping him in for another year to send him back to Iraqistan.”
“Is he going to loose his scholarship?”
“Probably. Damn backdoor draft.”

ambulance drafting

Directly following an ambulance to or from an emergency in order to take advantage of the parted traffic in order to get ahead of your fellow commuters. Sometimes called ambulance chasing.

Man! Rush hour would've made me late for my job interiew, but fortunately there was a terrible accident. However, thanks to my ambulance drafting skills I was actually early. Too bad family of 5 had to die so I could land a job.

Pervy Draft

The gust of wind that (due to air pressure and wind outside your open window) blows your door open whilst you are in the middle of undressing, leading you to think that someone is undesirably entering while you change.

*Door creaks open*
