"Let's Go Brandon"
originated from a NASCAR race in mid-2021. During the race, the crowd began to chant "FUCK JOE BIDEN!" When the media covered it, they attempted to convince people that the crowd was saying "Let's Go Brandon," to cheer on one of the racers,
Brandon Brown, in a ridiculously bad attempt at damage control. In the weeks that followed, several music artists began to make parodic songs about the ridiculous error. The song "Let's Go Brandon" by rapper Loza Alexander was by far the most successful, becoming the most popular song on iTunes in less than a week. And thus, a legend was born. "Let's Go Brandon" is now a very common phrase uttered by people who strongly disapprove of Joe Biden's job
performance.
