adj. A hybrid of bad-ass and fancy. Most commonly used to describe a well-mannered gentleman who possesses some serious skills. Most bancy people are very calm and humble, and bancy is normally used as a third-person compliment (i.e. He/She is bancy, as opposed to you are bancy). Bancy can also never be obtained as a group, Real banciness can only be obtained through individual successes. Also, a cool first name is a trademark of bancy people. Bancy should only be used in sentences that end in an exclamation point.

To be made in low quantities with fine attention to detail, flavor, and source of ingredients and/or materials. Presumably, batchy things are high-quality, premium and expensive. Frequently, batchy things are handmade or homemade.

"Check out the hand-written number label on this batchy bottle of bourbon I just picked up from the fancy liquor store! It was aged in sherry casks!" "I'm wearing this beautiful, batchy lavender/thyme perfume that I got at the farmers market. Look at the cute, hand-blown, glass bottle and the label made of vintage Sicilian postage stamps!"
