It may be used by people who do not believe that friendship lasts forever, but still enjoy the idea of being "best friends forever" or "BFF"s with somebody. By ending it with "At The Moment", they just explain that they are best friends while they are, and at one point they may/may not break up.
But no one knows how long the moment will last. It could be a lifetime. ;)
