Tuffoons law

All internet discussions about healthcare systems eventually lead to someone mentioning the US healthcare system.
But if we don’t have the NHS, the only alternative is the US healthcare system...

Tuffoons law has been evoked.

Dacre's Law

Dacres's Law (or Dacre's rule of Daily Mail analogies) is an Internet adage asserting that "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving accusations of being a 'Daily Mail Reader' becomes highly likely."

The law is named after the infamous former editor of The Daily Mail, Paul Dacre, and can be applied when being accused of being a right-winger for showing concerns regarding immigration or transgenderism.
"I am concerened about Free Moment Of People, because it exploits a vulnerable migrant workforce and pushes wages down."
"Been reading The Daily mail, have you?"
"It's a bit early to be using 'Dacre's Law' isn't it?"
"Bigot!"

Skitty's law

People fall into one of two groups, those who would have sex with a skitty for $10,000, or those who would pay $10,000 to have sex with a skitty.

leach's law

The premise that when someone throws an accusation of mansplaining into an argument, they automatically lose said argument since their only counter is the gender of the speaker.
Person 1- the earth is flat
Person 2- no it isn't! There is plenty of evidence saying otherwise.
Person 1- Stop Mansplaining!
Person 2- under the terms of Leach's Law, I declare myself the winner and bid you good day.

law school

law school can be good if you keep up and are a swift reader, but it's horrible if you don't. you feel horrible like you could get a bad grade because there's a curve system and then kind of explode in tears.
the law school curve grading system makes me unhappy sometimes. when i was in high school, my good friend once told me "i hope everyone gets an A." this made me love and respect her so much, because she was so hard on herself and was valedictorian. now nobody is allowed to think like that, no matter how hard they work, not everyone can get an A in law school. it's devastating because we all came into law school with so much pride in our abilities and our acceptances into a school we love, and that sort of disintegrates with the curve system sometimes.
