Going to different restaurants to purchase multiple, specific food items unique to each restaurant (i.e. a popeyes' biscuit) all for the same meal.

Example: "I stopped at Taco Bell for a Mexican Pizza, Popeyes for a biscuit and Wendy's for a frosty; it was the ultimate personal potluck."
