love

Love is a beautiful thing that is very hard to describe. Most people use the term nowadays to have sex with someone. Sex is the ultimate stage between two people who are in love, not when some person is feeling horny and wants sex just for the fun of it. So sex and love are related, but not the same thing.

love

This word can be described by a girl who happens to brush by in life and you just STOP. Your mind freezes, your heart skips a beat or two, and your soul has found its meaning. Inside, you want to cry. Not out of the strangeness you're experiencing, but out of this newfound emotion of true happiness. There's nothing more beautiful in the world that her. Yet, you don't know who the hell that girl is... but feel hellbent to entwine your soul with hers.

love

A strong emotional bond towards something, usually a person, including strong feelings of care and affection, and a desire to keep a long-term positive relationship going with the loved one.

Love is often confused with sex, particularly due to the way society has sexualised shows of affection over recent decades. However, people may love parents and siblings, and may love close friends and cousins in much the same way- sexual relationships are different mainly due to the additional sexual element, not the love itself.

Love also shouldn't be confused with lust- attachment based on sexual desire alone, with no emotional attachment, is rarely sustainable and usually ends in a painful falling out with the person concerned.

Love can sometimes be abused for destructive purposes- people are expected to be prepared to make sacrifices for loved ones, so for example possessive partners may demand that one cuts off one's friends on request to "show" one's love for the partner.

The above caveats apart, love is a wonderful thing that is fundamental to keeping people happy and maintaining bonds within society.

love

LOVE is a subjective matter as all other feelings. In my life LOVE is operationlized everyday with a new sense of; who I am, how I feel "around my man" and how he effects my life.

You know when s/he is down you can't help but be sad. Your happiness is tied with him/her. The ups & downs of life are incomplete without sharing with that one person. Being able to rely on someone with your most intimate decisions/thoughts/experiences without doubts. A word from her/him has the power of making your day brighter than the sun or send you hidding under covers eating a bucket of choclate ice-cream. Pretty much everything in life takes a new meaning.

I don't believe that love has boundries and can only be shared with a bf/gf or husband/wife. The tiles are limiting and create a false sense of belonging. Even though it does give you a sense of security as we are psychologically programmed to view/feel things a certain way by society.
LOVE is how far you will go after you/your friends think it's time to give up.
