Immediate, low-grade infatuation with a person whom one has only encountered on the web. The most common causes of web-fatuation are seeing a friend of a friend on a social website, such as facebook, and being instantly smitten, without knowing any real information about that person's real life identity. If you have spent more than 2 minutes perusing a friend of a friend on social media...you may be suffering from a web-fatuation.

There are web sites by pre-teens with "cartoon dollz" and the like. And then there are web sites, called "blogs" (web - logs), where people rant out things. (i.e. www.star-lit-eyes.com) There are also VERY bright colored sites, with many pixelated images (i.e. www.super-duper.net or maybe www.celestial-sodapop.net) Then there are also web sites in progress that suck. (i.e. www.cosmiccandy.i8.com) Also, there are websites that are graphic warehouses/distrubutors(i.e. www.peachie.nu) And there are also tutorial sites, as well as butt-ugly sites with the MOST horrendous colors and such. There's much more....but I'm getting hungry...

Get the web site mug.Over use of the internet, making the person more shy and reliant of the internet for their social life than actually meeting new people and having a social life in the real life. Web shy people may have huge friends list on the internet but not that many people are their friends in real life. They rely a lot on dating sites for romance but never get there past a chat line or e-mail, making them online long distance relationships only. They always obsess on internet advice, making them think about the worse possible outcome the found out on the internet, which makes them more hesitant when it comes to doing social stuff in real life. They love to express their feeling and opinions online, but clam up when they are asked a question in class or a job interview. The only solution is to either completely stay off the internet (cold shoulder) or limit your internet access, and shut it off when you start becoming web shyness. Thes people also love porn.
