Habitual false confirmation bias

The tendency for an individual to wrongly come to a conclusion, largely due to that individuals obsession with a specific item or idea.
Danny states "Product X is only available on Apple IPhones, therefore Iphones are better." When in reality, Danny has an unhealthy obsession with Apple products and is rejecting the obvious signs that androids are better products. Danny is committing habitual false confirmation bias.

Bias

Your favorite member of a K-pop group, the one you feel the strongest connection to, support the most, or simply can’t stop obsessing over. Every fan has one (or more), and choosing your bias is basically a rite of passage in any fandom.
“I’ve been watching EXO videos all week, and I think Baekhyun is officially my bias now, his vocals are insane!”

Bias

An natural human mechanism. Every human has biases to some group no matter how positive or negative, major or minor, socially acceptable or not, it doesn't matter, it's still biased. Any statement with an opinion that you could make will have some sort of bias. Remember, just because an statement is biased, doesn't mean it's wrong.
Ex 1:
Person 1: I hate ___!
Person 2: You have an bias against ___.

Ex 2:
Person 1: I love ___!
Person 2: you have an bias for ___.

Ps:(the sentences of person 1 are biased, but this doesn't mean they're wrong)

fictive bias

The accidental bias developed after discussing something with a fictive about their source that may differ from the actual media. While fictives are not the characters from their source, they may still have attachment to that media and memories and opinions about it. Sharing these thoughts and feelings with others could result in a bias toward or against someone or something due to information only that fictive would have, making it unexplainable to fandom-goers.
"What do you think of Ada Wong? She's such a badass, right?"
"Sorry, I can't help but hate her—fictive bias."

Survivorship bias

A type of bias where a person focuses on those who passed a selection process while ignoring those who did not.May accidentally be done by researches and news outlets while showing statistics, however, survivorship bias can be used to skewer results intentionally.

A common example of survivorship bias is the story of when multiple researchers examined where planes who came back from WW1 were most damaged. The researchers found that the wings and the back of the plane were the most shot spots. They initially decided to reinforce the spots that were shot the most, however a researcher who was still thinking pointed out that the planes that came back only were shot in the wings and the back of the plane, however those who did not return were shot in the spots that the planes that returned werent shot in.Therefore, the scientists ultimately decided to reinforce the places that returning planes werent shot in.
A doctor is talking to his patient about a new experimental vaccine that could potentially treat the patient's infection. This is how the conversation goes:

Patient:Doctor, this experimental vaccine, what is its effectiveness rate?

Doctor:The vaccine was found to be 90 percent effective in curing the disease you have.

-What happened to the remaining 10 percent?

-...I dont know.

The doctor leaves to check the medical records and returns 10 minutes later.

Doctor:The records say that the remaining 10 percent died 1 to 4 days after the vaccine.

Patient:Survivorship bias at its finest...
