1. to reply to a message (usually on a message board) by using a smiley or face.

2. To always reply with a smiley or face at the end of each message to help show the emotion behind it.

It can be annoying if you do it constantly.

1. :)/:o/XD/o_o etc.

2. Hi :(/OMG EMU PANTS O_O/You're stupid :o etc.

getting a a post war with friends by posting the most random things you can think of. whoever gets annoyed first surrenders and loses. or you could end in a stalemate. its REALLY fun :)

person 1: i hate onions
person 2: i love jellybeans

brainfart post 

A post showing up on a social media page or group that is totally off topic, irrelevant or incoherent. It takes an average time of thirty seconds to click the link and read enough of it to realize it is a total waste of one's time. For example, on a group with 7,000 members, that one post has collectively stolen an hour of life from those people.

I just clicked on that post on the embroidery group and had to watch a brainfart post of a stupid video of a puppy puking up a sock! Did that guy really think the world of embroidery would be made better with that video??!!

A phrase people use on facebook comment sections, usually on verified business pages, to get a “label” or “badge” which states that they are “top fans” (basically, to get recognition/ a reward for having no life.)

Many people: “Nice post, thanks for sharing.”

Few people: “why is everyone saying this?”

Very few people: “they’re just trying to get the “top fan” badge.
