Get the Ghostmug. A term coined generally by millinials that picked up great popularity after 2014. This social phenomenon i essentially when one party in a relationship, decides that instead of being an honest and upfront person in life, and facing possible backlash by their counterpart, that they will stop all communication with said person to avoid confrontation and reality. Others might say it is called “Letting someone down easy” where as a matter of fact one is just too scared of confronting another about how they feel or that they’d no longer like to communicate with said person
