a slur used to discriminate against the disabled community by covering the meanings crippled, handicapped, disabled, incapacitated as well as stupid, unlikable, "slow", or thoughtless. through out the words history it has limited the identity of the disabled community, been used as an incorrect diagnosis, or used to limit the conceived capabilities of non verbal people, or simply as in insult to insinuate disabled people are stupid or insinuate stupid people are disabled
