Psychological Finger

The psychological Finger is the PC version of giving someone the real Finger. The recipient will only realize they have been given the Psychological Finger long after the fact when they realize that you had no intentions of following through with a promise to either help or get back to them.
You " Boss, I need a new Computer, mine is very slow"

Boss "Sure, no problem, I will send an e-mail to IT and instruct them to get you a new Computer"

You call IT two weeks later to ask whether your Boss had sent the e-mail only to find out it was never sent.

You realize your Boss had given you the Psychological Finger in your original meeting.

psychologer

Rather than a psychologist or psychiatrist, a psychologer has no formal training but derives his or her theories and practises from New Age -principles; by using any source available to understand the human mind. The word combines the words astrologer and psychology, bringing it toward spiritual and intuitive knowledge over scientific approach to understanding the human mind. As he or she comes from the New Age background, they acknowledge the (possible) existence of the immortal soul that reincarnates. They are a psychologist of the soul rather than a psychologist of the mortal person. A psychologer is someone who works toward creating new theories and practises to help people solve their psychological problems; a step up from "a life coach" who uses every day knowledge and certain common New Age practises for the same thing. A psychologer has their own studies and theories, where as a life coach most likely does not; therefore, a rare individual.

Earlier, the word was used for a psychologist, one of the early forms for a psychologist, and the term refers to the exact idea; early onset psychology; non-proven science, and ground breaking, officially non-approved practises in the field of psychology.
"My psychologer believes I should try and remember some of my past lives to fully understand myself."

criminal psychologist

A person who has been schooled in criminal psychology, which involves a unique and highly trained mind, and a person of great intelligence. Criminal psychology is hard to explain properly, but from my understanding, it is when the criminal psychologist has to try and think like a killer (criminal psychologists are sometimes asked to help police with murders), try and get inside their mind, and try to undterstand why the killer committed the crime in question, so the case can be solved, if the criminal psychologist has been hired by police. This may involve using evidence from the crime as a way to try to get inside the killers mind. Criminal psychology doesn't always determine exactly who the killer is, it does help immensely though to give an idea of the personality of the killer, what he's like, and so on. People who knew the victims of the crimes are often interviewed by police to get any possible leads on who the actual killer is, and suspects may also be interrogated to narrow down any list of people the police might believe committed the crime. This all has to do with the criminal psychologist, because he or she is often the one who has to figure out how the crime happened with the information that is given to him/her, whether it be from an acquaintance of the victim, or a suspect, or crime scene evidence.
Dr. John Davies is a criminal psychologist.

The police have hired a criminal psychologist to help them figure out who the killer is in their latest case.

Psychologist

Ordinary people who went to college for about 10 years after high school just to be able to listen to lunatics bitch all day long. They also have a shitload of student loans. A good movie that illustrates a Doctor's struggles in this profession is called "What about Bob?".
Some of my favorite Psychologists are:

1. Wilhelm Wundt
2. BF Skinner
3. John B Watson
