Russian backpack

A plastic shopping bag used to carry everyday items. Most people in Russia use plastic bags to carry things around with them. Even students of all ages, who would ordinarily carry their books in a backpack in the US, use a plastic bag, called a "paket" in Russian.

This isn't Moscow. Stop carrying your books around in a Russian backpack and get yourself a proper bag.

backstage

In Disney theme parks, this is the area where guests are not allowed, tucked away behind indescript doors and curtains. In reality, these areas are usually quite ugly, disgusting, and very unkempt. This is also where you see many a cast member doing what they normally are not allowed to do onstage: eat, drink, smoke, use the restroom, talk on their cell phones, talk about their personal lives, be unfriendly.

A person who rides your back so hard you need to pry them off. Often a co-worker, teacher or manager in professional settings but could also be a significant other, semi-friend or admirer in social settings.
