Gilbert cut

Tree branches that have been poorly cut off and leaving portions of the limb behind; an obvious bad cut; a term to remove the well known racial term, "nig**r" cut.

Someone messed up the way that tree looks with that gilbert cut!;
That tree just doesn't look the same since it got gilbert cut on one side.;
Don't gilbert cut those branches unless u absolutely have to when clearing those power lines.

Costello Cut-out

Similar to an "Irish Exit", the Costello Cut-out involves leaving a party or social gathering without saying goodbye, but shuffling your feet on the way out.

Gary : Hey where did Johnny Boy go?
Mike : I don't know, he was just here laughing and having fun. Then he disappeared.

Gary : I think he gave us the Costello Cut-out.
Mike : Yea, shuffled right out on us.
