An ebonics phrase used to infer a solution to a problem when short on cash and trying to make a purchase.

Translation: "Know what you can do?"
Person 2: "Dang, I don't have enough to get that"
Person 1: "No Chicken Do?"

Person 2: "No, What?"
Person 1: "Puddin on layaway!"

Translation: "Put it on layaway!"
