The definition of this word was once accepted to be any tube like apparatus for the express purpose of insuffulating narcotics, however to align with the massive shift in popular drug culture that has occurred with the opioid epidemic it is now commonly accepted to mean any tube like apparatus, usually a hollowed bic pen or straw, used for the Express purpose of free basing or smoking opioids such as heroin or fentanyl pills on foil.
