A pathetic excuse for music, rap isn't real music to begin with, the simple fact is that rap is poetry set to a beat. Original rap wasn't so bad. It dealt with many different issues and was worth listening to. But recently this rap has been taken over by shit also known a "gangsta rap." Really all that it talks about is how that rapper " went tru da hood an' shot da cops" now really why cant they pronounce anything right? do they think it's cool or something to sound like a retard and say "da" instead of "the"? Even if you ignore the horrible "music" the sub culture of it is really sickening. Fans walk around looking like either criminals or like retards with too much jewelry. They can't even talk, it's like they had to try and sound unique so they came up with stupid sounding words like shizzle,and yo and stupid phrases like "in da hizzy" really they just look and sound like a bunch of fucking idiots.
Guide to making a rap song
Step 1: Either record some random beat by spitting into your hands and looking like a dumbass, or pay someone else to do it.
Step 2: Write some words that rhyme and tell a story about how you did something illegal. If you can't come up with a real rhyming word just make one up.(That's how shizzle came to be)
Step 3: Record yourself saying the words in step with the beat.
Step 4: Send it to a record company, if they like it they will ask yout o make a few more that sound exactly like it.

Yeah i might listen to rock, and others but i love rap the most because unlike what most of u bullshitters say, it actually has some of the most meaning.
And that guy who said em is a white fuck... wtf man.. get a grip.. why does rap hafta because a racial issue. Half of the blacks in America have accepted Em so why dont you?
Listen to some decent rap and stay away from mosta the gangsta bull if ya dont like it !

One of the worst genres of music today. The only decent artist in this genre is Necro. Other than that, it is a steaming pile of shit.

Person 2: Not only is Hurricane Chris the gayest rapper of all time, he is hated throughout the rap community. A Bay Bay and Soulja Boy are the worst songs of the year, face it. Not only are you asking me to listen to a lackluster genre of music, you are asking me to listen to the lowest forms of an already gay genre of music. The answer is, no thanks, I'd rather listen to some Suffocation or Funeral Rape or Cannibal Corpse instead.

Rap spawned in the 70's, and was later killed by fags like Pow wow (Paul Wall has a difficult time pronouncing his name), Mike Jones, 50 cent, Lil Jon, and most modern rappers.
If you think that rap is all sex and drugs (just like heavy metal) listen to REAL rap, not these fags today.

Rap is not a fashion statement that is going to fade in a couple of years ( maybe in the suburbs but that's why you people don't understand, but let me explain). Rap is more than music, rap is a culture (hip-hop), with that said if you insult rap, you insult a whole culture. Maybe white kids in the suburbs are now deciding to listen to rap because it is the cool thing to do, but you got to understand that rap is the language of not only the young african americans, but also of the working class and the oppressed. I understand there is some shitty music in rap now, because rap is not controlled by rappers anymore but by the industry (people who hate rap like you guys but that are making a lot of cash with it). And know you're history, when a music genre is too much popular and generates a lot of money it always becomes shit, it happened to rock and now it's happening to rap. If raps doesn't require any talent, then please, try. Try to speak with poetry to a whole generation that listens to you, and to make them bounce while at it. Personnaly i would love to hear it, and laugh at it. It's normal to not understand rap, like if you're not born in italy you don't understand italian, because rap is a language. But please, don't make statements disrespecting a culture and a music that you don't even know. Hate against rap is really comparable to racism or fascism, and what's funny is that you don't even realise it. If rap is not your cup of tea , let it be, but don't make bold statements that you would never do in public if it's not in front of you're skater white friends. Rap is a music that you got to respect if you don't like it, like I respect punk rock, event if I don't bump this in my car. Rap is not just drugs, prostitutes and alcohol, but it's that too...because maybe it's not possible in your reality, but for us it's custom to have prostitutes, crackheads or alcoholics as our neighbours.
