Lets Play Curse

This is when you do something called a "Lets Play", and no matter how much you practice, when you start recording... you suddenly suck at the game.

When chuggaaconroy was doing a Lets Play of Super Mario Sunshine, he repeatedly references the Lets Play Curse.

playa hater

Most simply, a playa hater is someone who openly criticizes, purposefully attempts to sabotage, or who indulges in any number of other activities/behaviors aimed at someone they consider a playa, or even at playas in general.

The derogatory aspect to the term comes in the idea that the person who's hatin is really only jealous -- they playa hate because they wish they could be as successful, or alternately wishes they could somehow have the playa to themself.

So, of course, quite often a playa hater is someone who at some point or other feels they were done wrong by a playa.

"I was trying to talk to this girl, but she was hanging out with this dude who's a total playa hater. Everything I said, he tried to turn it around to make me an asshole..."

Let's Play

One or more people, usually from message boards, that record themselves playing video games through screenshots or captured video (Mostly the latter). This can be any game, from Doom to Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

The most popular of the Let's Play videos come from the extremely difficult Super Mario World hack titled "Super Kaizo World". Usually Let's Play videos consist of jokes (Good, bad, and/or corny), frustration, and bewilderment by the ones playing. Some also explain gameplay, easter eggs, and general trivia pertaining to the game being played.

Abbreviation: LP

This is when nothing else matters only the game at hand. One must block out everything else and focus on the game. A true athlete can do this to elevate his play,and crush his weaker opponent. This idea was also what born the song by motorhead "Time to play the game".

Hockey playoffs start today so, it's "Time to play the game".
