Often such a person will set about collecting as many certifications as they can and proudly display them in their email signature and social network profiles. Typically they have a shallow understanding of areas in which they are certified, and are unable to display significant independent reasoning or understanding in those areas.
May also refer to the act of obtaining an industry certification.

Get the collective..wrlddmug. the best way to describe this is to take an authentic role playing video game that if you kill trillions of monsters in the game by then the Collective experience makes you a force to be reckon with. the strongest in that particular video game too bad you can't carry it on to the sequel and other video games and it really starts to get tedious after so many times of doing it. maybe why people only do one.
