If you are a military brat of a young enlisted parent, you’ve still got some kind of shot at getting out. But if you grew up here, or if your parent is retiring, I’m sorry, you might as well become a teacher, or a fast food worker. All in the same.
Remember when you wanted to be great, and said it like you meant it? Remember when you wanted to to actually do things when you were growing up? Me neither, it’s a really long time since I didn’t feel like collapsing, and wishing I never moved here.
Not going to lie, the people you meet here are some the most amazing people you’ll ever meet. Parts of them will remind you of how you were before moving here. But they’ll all get on your nerves once you grow old with them. Time stays still whenever you’re in Alamogordo.
