When you ask someone if they've done something which you know they haven't and then as they're answering they do the thing you're asking them to do.

Dad: "Molly, is your seat belt on?"

An adjective that was originally just a synonym for slow. In the 20th century the word was used in the term mentally retarded, a broad term used to describe people with mental handicaps. Because of this, the word became strongly associated with mental disability. As time passed, people began using the word Retarded to describe people, places or things that they found dumb or unappealing. Later on, the use of the word became considered offensive or taboo by many people, because of it's association with mental disabilities.
