To 'do a luke' means to always leave your mobile phone on your desk and never in your pocket where it needs to be so people can get in touch. If you frequently 'do a Luke' you may be considered forgetful.
To do a luke: "Gareth has done a Luke!" - meaning Gareth has left his mobile phone on his desk so we can't contact him.
