Swamp Donkey Someone who retains high working ethics even though the environment they are working within maybe hostile or even working against them. Similar to the concept of a 'workhorse' but in worse conditions and equipped with second rate equipment. Can also be used to describe someone who land in a flat area prone to flooding and boggy soil.
