strong first post

When someone completely new to the boards at Bodybuilding.com comes in and either says something totally idiotic, asks a question about illegal steroids or just makes a foolish statement in general, an experienced poster will then say, "Strong first post."
Noob: Hay, guise! I'm wondering what PCT I should take for my first cycle. I am 18 years old, 150 lbs."

Experienced Poster: Strong first post, noob. GTFO."

Noob: "You don't have to be all mean, I just wanted to get some answers without doing any research. Gosh..."

Canada Post

ASSHOLE Corporation owned by the Federal Government of Canada. It is designed to screw the Canadian public out of their money as a hidden government tax. Additionally, the Management employed are mentally and emotionally impaired with as much interpersonal relationship skills as a brick wall. Addtionally, the CUPW Union Reps are full of closet fascists who are actually Canada Post Management *wanna beees* in how they treat CUPW members they don't like.

Facebook air post

When you post a comment to someone's status, immediately decide that your comment sucks and delete it, but the notification still goes out that you commented on it leaving everyone curious about what you intended to say.
"I wanted to come up with a witty rebuttal to Kelly's status, but I'm a tool so I did a Facebook air post instead."

vague post

A comment or statement that is made by someone on a social media site who's thinking is in a very tight dramatic circle. The post is very unclear and usually has no redeeming value to those who read it. However, the poster uses this tactic to build curiosity in his/her friends so they may inquire why the post was made. But the poster never responds or explains to why they made such a ridiculous comment..
friend's post: "the humidity has something to do with it!"
me: "what are you talking about?"
4or5 hours elapse with about 5 likes
me: "why make such a vague post?"

bait post

A bait post is an obvious "troll" post made by someone to piss off or "trigger" people who are stupid enough to take it seriously and laugh at their reactions.
"Ha, this guy took my bait post! Look at his hilariously butt hurt comment!"

Power of the Post

(acr. POTP)

When you are looking for the answer to a question, and in posting the question you discover how to find the answer only seconds later after posting. Sometimes this is because you find better search terms for the question, or because the answer is in the question itself.

In gaming circles, this phenomenon is known as 'power of the post' because sometimes to answer a question you simply need to formulate the problem clearly instead of attacking it with brute force.
I was pixel-hunting for hours and still can't get out of the damn room...

(5 mins later)

nm, got it... duh Power of the Post
