Hybrid Rock

The combination of two different genres of rock music (i.e. Grunge/Metal, Punk/Hard Rock, Hair Metal/Scream, Death/Punk) and/or the introduction of a completely different genre(i.e. Dub step, Hip Hop, Country, Oldies) into a song or songs to form a new version of rock or "Hybrid Rock".

Magic Rock

A colorful small rectangular magical rock discovered on 1868 in the United Kingdom by a group of explorers after adventuring on plains. It is said to have fallen from sky. During the discovery, one member of the group stored it to get showed on a British opera house to showcase the audience how the rock works. The rock itself works on all kinds of magic.

A Modern form of the magic rock was used on Warner Bros.' 2009 film Shorts, where kids discovered it. In the film, it was used as wishing rock that caused chaos on a small Texan neighborhood.

Desert Rock

A subgenre of metal music that had the same roots as another metal subgenre, stoner rock. Desert rock music actually sounds like the desert, it has a characteristic windswept sound incorporating lots of wah-wah and acoustic instrumentation. It sounds pretty spaced out, with definite psychedelic vibes, and you won’t be surprisedto hear that it was heavily influenced by people being spaced out on one thing or another, marijuana influenced jamming sessions in the desert no doubt with a side order of magic mushrooms.

Some desert rock bands are: Kryuss, Queens of the Stone Age, and Fu Machu

Scarf Rock

A genre of rock that is charecterised by one or more of the members in the band wearing a scarf. The musical characteristics of this genre include harder rocking tunes in the bands earlier stages which then evolve to softer melodic ballads that entail homoerotic atmosphere and cliche' lyrics. The band tries to disguise this change in sound as musical 'maturity' when really, it is just gay.

Guy 1: Hey man you check out that Hinder concert last week?

Guy 2: Na man im really bummed cos they are my favourite scarf rock bands
