Step 7. You prostrate and torture him to death in front of the mob
Step 8. His followers scatter and try to tell everyone what actually happened.
Step 9. You torture and kill all of his followers.
Step 10. Some time passes

Usually an authoritative source tells you what your rights are, which is why you have none.

Just about everything in the Constitution and Bill of Rights is an authoritative source telling everyone that didn't write it what their rights will be for the next hundred years or so. Most people have never really had any true rights, billionaires have rights, they do what they want to do.
