This is a phrase used by the majority religious group in the United States (Christians) to describe occasional and feeble acts of resistance by the minority religious groups in response to Christians' persistent proselytizing, criticizing.

When a Kwanzaa display was put up next to a Christmas display on the lawn of the courthouse building, the Christians in the area cited this as more evidence of the war on Christianity.

A flame war is a heated argument between two individuals, that results in those involved posting personal attacks on each other during or instead of debating the topic at hand.

Most forums have rules that forbid flaming. This is because the quality of conversation on a forum can be seriously degraded by a flame war. Topics can be "hijacked" by two people who would rather flame each other than discuss the subject of the thread.

Some websites encourage flaming for the purpose of entertainment. One such website is www.flamewarforum.com.

I can't come to work today because i'm having a flame war on www.flamewarforum.com.

Potato war

The great potato war is a 2sided war on hypixel skyblock that opposed the first and second biggest potato farmer in the game. The great potato war lasted 9month, where both Technoblade and Im_a_squid_kid (the two protagonists) raves to see who would be the first to farm 500million potatoes. With both sides using advanced techniques, spies and monitoring each other playtime / sleep. The greatest achievement was Technoblade rounding Im_a_squid_kid to 8 different colleges. After an update that added auto replanting crops, both sides started farming 10-12hours a day on average. Technoblade was victorious and earned a potato crown with written on it “ All men can see these tactics whereby I conquer, but what none can see is the strategy out of which victory is evolve”. Sun tzu.
