Somone who tries to fit in with a group of people. They obviously do not fit in but try their hardest to conform to this group people and usually end up just being a liar and a fake.
Alex tries so hard to fit it with Kara and Kately that she lied about hooking up with JT, just because Kara and Kately are sexually advanced, aka she is being a poser.

Get the Posermug. An intravert seen as an extrovert is posing as an extrovert. Allowing people to see you as or representing yourself as an extrovert when you're not an extrovert is posing rather than being yourself.
There are a lot of characters on tv shows people think of as extroverted people in real life. The same goes for the news and different forms of media, the internet, music. A poser is somebody you think is a certain way naturally based on what you'be seen and heard through a media source.

Get the Posermug. A poser is someone who pretends to be something they are not in order to look cool. Whether it be a techno poser, an emo poser, or even a lesbian poser, each one pretends to like that in order to be cool. Often, a poser will deny the fact that they are lying, and look at other people's shirts to prove it.
