Unfortunate city in Minnesota, birthplace to Hormel foods and their canned green-meat "sensation" SPAM. A horrible place to raise children, and hopefully one of the first to disappear in the earth's impending demise.

The City Pages, a Minneapolis sister-publication of the Village Voice, did a cover story (I believe in 2004 or 05) on the atrocious number of meth labs sprouting up in Austin and surrounding farm communities. So much for wanting to eat my vegetables.

A small town in the middle of Potter County, Pennsylvania. Where there is no stoplights and only 1 school grades preschool-12. Where there are more animals then people. Deer season is the most important holiday of the year. You know everyone in the whole town by name and who they are kin too. You have to travel over 100 miles to the nearest real grocery store or mall. It snows over 6 feet of snow every winter till mid March. Another definition for HELL.
