In the beginning of the movie Sally has feelings for Jack, and also has a terrible vision: that Christmas will turn out a disaster if Jack interferes. Sally's creator is a mad scientist names Dr. Finklestein, who insists Sally stays in their tower. However, Sally is very curious, and she escapes by using deadly nightshade, a potion that puts people to sleep.
