A word first used to describe a martial art originating in Okinawa and later modernised in mainland Japan. It now (in the western world) refers to any martial art one may do. Including Korean, Chinese and Indian origin martial arts.

Get the Karatemug. When a fight breaks out that results in a comedy of errors and is laughable to watch. An art practised by a very special breed, who are so disciplined, they don't even known they are masters of their art.
The crowd erupted with laughter on the street, as the fight that had tension in the air, turned out to be a another surprising show of slapstick karate.
