foshosies

An addictive phrase used to express affirmation. Derived from the term "fo sho", which is derived from the term "for sure", it is believed to have roots in Detroit, Michigan as well as Australia. Once you start saying it, you (embarrassingly) can't stop.

Sometimes shortened to just "shosies".

Bro 1: "hey, are we gonna hit the bar tonight?"

Bro 2: "foshosies"

Bro 1: "dude, shut the fuck up."
