Acronym for "Person in my past". Common way to refer to your former lover(s) in conversation with your current/new lover, without explicitly referring to him/her/them by name or talking about "my ex". It communicates an understanding and respect of your new partner's sensitivity for bringing up your previous lover(s) or love life.
