The Slay section of the word highlights the versatility of it. The girls, the guys, the gays, the dolls all wear it.

The Lazy portion of the word comes from the fact that most is not all the clothes are relaxed, ready to wear and comfy.

The Zee part is due to GenZ being the main wearers and they are mostly at the forefront of thrifting culture.

I’m tired of seeing everyone in a ‘Slayzy’ outfit. If I see another f1 jacket and some distressed oversized jeans, I am going to lose my mind. It’s the equivalent of wearing a niche band tee when you can’t even name one song.
