Colloquialism used in Windsor Ontario Canada to describe as one of the guys. In a greeting the word can be used in a rising manner to say hello from one pipe to another. Piiiiipe! or Piiiiiipah!

When used as a pejorative it can refer to as one of those guys as a "tool".
