Get the balls mug.balls is like being kind of a douche while youre doing the thing that feels like a bravery thing, but isnt brave... but has that same sort of 'well thats kind of bold' feel, but with an edge. basically guts s like 'oh thats hard to do, you have to be brave to do that' so its almost more of an admirable connotation whereas...if you say they were ballsy its like they're really kinda pushing the envelope with what they're doing even BEYOND what you would expect
