Advantage-gate

Referring to the 2023 season of the Australian Football League when a single goal separated the Queensland team of Brisbane Lions and the Victorian team of Collingwood. In the final 2 minutes of play, the Lions seemed set to score off of a free kick but the officiating umpire decided the Brisbane Lions had opted to take the advantage, which resulted in no score and an immediate turn over to Collingwood essentially resulting in Collingwood walking down the remaining time to play and securing the Grand Final

Advaieth

An absolute bro for life, the one that will never let you down. He is caring for everything except from: computer science, piano, the letter R, and electric scooters. Other than that he is a pretty great guy. Also if there is anyone saying that they have an 'e' in Advaieth then they are wrong because there is only one, and he manages his life pretty well. He can't grow facial hair for shit, and often spends his time gaslighting himself into thinking that he will do so, and grow in general. But other than that he's pretty cool.

The advantage one has in being nearby.

Jane was the girlfriend of both Sam and Mark at different times. In both relationships she ended it. In Jane's eyes, the two are in equal standing. Now that Jane's newest relationship has broken up, she wants to reconnect with one of her two former exes. Mark lives two counties away while Sam lives in the same apartment complex as Jane. Jane restarts relationship with Sam because Sam has the proximity advantage.

Tom is an employer who is in search of an employee to start ASAP. There are two candidates for the position: John who is the better option but is on the other side of the world, and Jesse, who is slightly less qualified but will start immediately. Tom hires Jesse because Jesse has the proximity advantage.
