Falcons effect

An effect where your team or another team in sports choke a big lead in a game, mainly when there's barely any time on the clock.

This term originates from Super Bowl 51 (LI) when the Atlanta Falcons stupidly choked a 28-3 lead against the Patriots somehow.

I went to H&M yesterday to buy a pair of pants and suffered from the Target Effect. I spent $350 on new clothes. 😭

The psychological effect of the modern-day era where one is able to predict what would happen after they get into some type of situation that has something else happening behind the scenes. Usually involved with your friend's girlfriend.
