Basically what people are saying nowadays on Tiktok, Youtube, Pintrest, Twitter.. You name it. It's kind of like saying "Fr" (For real) under a relatable post. The most annoying part of it tho, is that people use it for the most random things that don't even seem like a relatable moment. Like, Someone could show a photo of them at the beach, and someone in the comments might say; "The floaty in the background is so real" Like ?? How is that relatable?? You sound slow. Below is a better example on how you can use the term, "Real"
Exhibit A: Man, I love going on road trips and watching all the trees and houses pass by."
Exhibit B: "Real."
Exhibit B: "Real."

A term used for agreement, specifically to state that one’s negative emotions match another’s feelings perfectly
“I genuinely cannot take this anymore. My life is in ruins. I have suicidal thoughts every second of the day. Everybody hates me and I hate myself just as much”

Popularized by depressing TikTok slideshows, 'real' is used to express how something shown (from the slideshow, for example) is very present in their life, and has a personal effect on them.
Due to a large proportion of such slideshows to be about heartbreak, people commonly mention how real may be used as an acronym for 'Realise Everybody Always Leaves' despite not always being the case.
